POOL SESSIONS

Each Friday evening at Coleraine Leisure Centre 9pm-10pm. Pre-booking is essential for kayaks. Kayak £5 swim £1. From Friday 3^rd October 2008 -  Friday 27^th March 2009. Contact Gary Lamont

FUNDAMENTAL SKILLS COURSE  at Portrush Harbour. Thursday 18^th September 2008. Meet at the harbour ready to go afloat at 6.30pm. This course is essential for all those involved in coaching and for those who wish to become coaches.

BEGINNERS SESSIONS based at University of Ulster at Coleraine  - Watersports Centre.            Thursday evenings 6.30pm – 8.00pm, beginning 25^th September 2008. 2^nd October, 9^th October, 16^th October and 23^rd October 2008.   Open canoe and kayak skills suitable for all level of paddler. KAYAK SURFING each Sunday morning at 10.00am at the West Bay,  Portrush. The session may take place at a different beach depending on conditions.                                                                                   Contact Matt Pothecary.

25 – 26^th October 2008. British Open Surf Kayak competition at Portrush.  This event will give you the chance to see Britains top surf kayakers in action. Please do your best to get along for part of the event.

Surf kayak coaching. please register your interest with Matt and he will arrange for a surf coaching session with Paul Harrington from the N.I. Surf Kayak Club.

Sea kayak paddling and open canoe expeditions . Each Sunday there is a group of paddlers who travel to different areas to explore by sea kayak or canoe. This is a golden opportunity to explore  more remote areas with guidance. Contact John Vance.

Sea kayak expedition to Tory Island 19th – 21^st September 2008. This trip is for experienced sea kayakers. Contact  John Vance.

FAMILY PADDLES AND FLAT WATER TRIPS.

Saturday 4^th October 2008. Portglenone to Kilrea. Meet at Portglenone at 10.00am. The morning trip will be from Newferry to Portglenone to coincide with a CANI competition over the same route. We will continue the trip in the afternoon to Portna leaving Portglenone at 2.00pm.  Contact Robin Ruddock.

CCKA THE MOVIE/SLIDESHOW  Saturday 6^th December 2008 Catch up on the seasons paddles on the big screen. Social evening with Martin Kerr and John Vance. Bring along your best images of paddlesport for an evening viewing. Please bring your own refreshments. Contact John Vance.

WHITE WATER SAFETY AND RESCUE COURSE. This two day course is for proficient paddlers who want to run grade two and three rivers. Please register your interest with Keith Fitzsimmons.
